14th March 2010 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 25mph Surf / Sea State: Rolling chop Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: Icy Weather: Bright Max Speed: Distance Covered: First time out since November. Felt very clumsy in boots and gloves together with the long lay-off. Good conditions - very well powered on 5.8 and well organised chop. Water icy - had to swim for kit a couple of times and it was most unpleasant, particularly as there were only one or two other sailors out. Dispensed with the gloves for second session - much better. Boots still clumsy and get stuck in straps when gybing. Great to be back out - weather needs to warm up a little more. |
